In-vivo counting systems
ELSE NUCLEAR products range has been recently enriched with new in-vivo counting systems, developed to perform high-efficiency, reliable scan of individuals, either for whole-body applications or specialised analysis. Such monitors can be employed in nuclear power plants, research facilities, and anywhere an in-vivo monitoring of individuals is required.
Up to date, we propose the following in-vivo counting systems:
- Lungs burden analysis/counting system (LUNG COUNTER)
- Whole body in-vivo counting system (VEBOS)
THYMON is a compact NaI(Tl)-based detector specifically conceived tofast, yet reliably, measure I-131 contamination in thyroid. Its compactness, ruggedness, light-weight, together with its simple and intuitive built-in software interface, make the device perfectly suited for emergency screening applications.
The VEBOS system is designed to perform a complete scan of individuals standing in front of a vertically moving detection equipment.
The LUNG COUNTER monitor has been designed to perform high-efficiency, fast and reliable radiometric controls of human lungs.
